Remember when champions use to defend against their #1 contenders?

Can't really blame fighters going after big money fights.

1. Danny HAD a good resume until he fought Mattysse. Apparently that gave him a pass for the next several years. Huerra ruined all the confidence he gained after one of the biggest wins of that year.

2. I dont have a problem with fighters looking for money fights but the champions need to defend their belts against the best to establish themselves first. Its one thing if your a long time champ or a draw but pretty much all of these fighters would be lucky to draw half a million buys on there own if that.

The worst part is when Aldo was the man with pretty much nobody left to face the UFC refused to let him fight Pettis for both belts. Thats when its bull**** but all these new champs need to prove themselves first. All of them besides Cody have gotten wrecked in one of there last 5 fights and have had boring fights.
