  • Is Crawford the biggest illusion and hypejob currently?

Excluding ggg since that boy has already been exposed.

Crawford is yet again in another mismatch. He's supposed be the best p4p but his best win is little Gamboa.

He's a 3 division champ yet his resume is still trash. He's kinda like Broner in that aspect

There’s literally hundreds of other boxers you would have to list before getting to Crawford and GGG.

So if you dominate a division for a decade and you win titles in multiple weight classes you are hypejobs? So who isn't a hypejobs? Let me guess, you will come back with Canelo, Ward and Wilder.

Nope. Two supposed elite P4P fighters who haven't really proven it

Crawford's situation is worse since he hasn't been in the ring with anyone elite at all.

GGG ain’t ever been beat in reality. The first canelo fight he won and the second was a draw.

Crawford would beat everyone in his division at the current time so neither are hype jobs.

By your logic Canelo was exposed by Mayweather...

Who has proven something by your standards?

And I would almost any ABC champ before those two FWIW.

                  Illusion? Yes.

                  Hypejob? No.

He's made out to be p4p #1 type boxer but knocked out glass-jaw Khan, poor man's Mickey Ward in Jeff Horn, a sloppy af Indongo, and a "i took a bullet in the knee" Benavidez etc.

He's an very good boxer from the eye test. Much better than the likes of Broner, Davis, Khan etc but his cv is flimsy at best.

For all the reasons people question Spence and GGG etc. Crawford is escaping when he also hasnt fought anyone big time. Not even 2nd tier like Thurman, Porter, Brook.

So he's a bit of an illusion but he's not all hype, he has ability, he just hasnt fought anyone worth a damn.

Who has Deyonce beat? He's older than Crawford. Canelo has cherry picked old guys and was taking PEDs. The Charlos have stagnated and seem to be regressing. Gervonta's pimp, Floyd, won't let him fight Loma or anybody else with a pulse. There's many more guys who have had manufactured careers but those are some of the most notable.

I don't see Crawford in the same category as those other guys. He's fighting highly ranked fighters with a solid amateur pedigree. He has the talent to beat all the top guys and that's why Gaymon is actively avoiding putting his fighters against him, hoping he'll just go away like Anthony Joshua.
