It's gone from a thread about the WBC to the obsessive hating of GGG fans in no time at all.

2nd best MW with 0 wins at MW? lol
So you nerds wanted him to fight Canelo forever and after he did, you are still gonna cry? Well, keep crying. If enough tears flow, I'm sure GGG will fight Lara Can't wait for posters here to call Derev and Charlo bums soon.

        True.

False. Part of the agreement that allowed Canelo to fight Khan was that Canelo was agreeing in advance to vacate if he didn't sign to fight GGG within 15 days. The WBC would have likely allowed another step aside, but it was GGG who would only allow the Khan step aside if Canelo would put in writing he would sign to fight him or vacate right after.

GGG was the interim world champion. Interim world champions become the world champion to fill a vacancy. Interim champions aren't made to then fight for a vacant belt. Why are you presenting things in such a misleading way?

Vanes was ranked #1 at super welterweight. The #1 contender in any weight class can ask to be ranked in the next weight class and that would be approved by any sanctioning body pretty much every time. Again, you're presenting things in a very misleading fashion. Hard to take your thread seriously.
You're right about the vacant title part but that's it.

Brook wasn't ranked #1 at welterweight by the WBC. The sanctioning bodies rankings come out once a month and Vanes wasn't ranked. He wasn't ranked in the top 15 when the rankings came out for may

And he still isn't ranked in the top 15 when the new rankings came out on the 27th

While other sanctioning orgs refused to sanction either the Brook or Vanes fight the WBC sanctioned both.

You speculating the WBC would have allowed another step aside after the Khan fight.

Allowing him to fight for the interim title as a champion of another sanctioning body is acceptable but doesn't happen often. They showed goodwill by allowing that. And it put him on track to unify thru a mandatory position instead of negotiating with another champ.

Are you claiming the WBC has not treated GGG well?

The WBC has been in GGG's corner from day one and have gone out of their way many times to accommodate him. They promote him more than they promote any of their other champions. All they're asking is he do them a favor and accept the fight for the amount of money he was gonna fight for in May.

Pretty much every GGG thread ends up that way.

Apparently there isn't a rabid, pathological hatred for GGG from a whole heap of mentally disturbed people after all. Just read the above - GGG gets no criticism. I know, I didn't believe it either, but his haters have written it so it must be so...

This thread was NEVER really about the WBC.

It was yet another "I hate GGG so im going to try and discredit him" thread.

Sulaiman's motives are purely Canelo and money based.

I'm down with them pushing the mandatories on GGG as it's only fair but they aren't doing it out of principal.
