in the mid 90s, a pack of smokes cost under $2...like gas
Speaking of that....I way way out in the NC country the other day and we passed an old, closed down gas station. Still had a worn out sign up, it read 12 cents a gallon.
Before cellphones, everyone would meet up at a pool hall, coffee shop, house and everyone would roll together 3, 4, 5 cars to a party or the club.
Now?
Everyone just shows up and leaves whenever they feel like it.
And everyone is on their phone while they're there.
I agree 100% it was much more fun actually meeting up with your friends, I'm on my phone a lot but if I'm out to eat or at a bar I put it away. Hell I'm a millennial and they p i ss me off
