The set up is kind of funny though. But it’s so drawn out and by the time you get to the actual boxing, you don’t even care. And I love Woody. But yeah that movie was hard to stomach. The boxing that we did get to see was just cringe. It’s essentially a road trip to Vegas. With a quick boxing scene at the end. That’s really what it was.

I think that scene with Gabe in the first Creed was one of the best scenes of boxing that we’ve seen. The way it’s done is just impressive. It’s a long take. That’s impressive. Not only that, but the boxing was pretty realistic. As far as realism, I think that scene takes the cake.

I think the funniest boxing movie is The Great White Hype and it’s probably the most realistic look at the behind the scenes workings of boxing in general.
