To be fair it goes both ways. Back then women didn’t even work, a man could work and provide for a full family.

There was also more room for innovation. I know technology keeps growing but we are vastly overpopulated so the world is more competitive then ever. Both parents working and making $15 an hour can barely meet basic needs for a family of 4-5 where they would of been well off a few decades ago. A lot of people with degrees dont even get work in that field.


Women are more like men, marriage is almost a joke these days. Everybody has so many options. I get your point but as always you have your good and bad.

I do find it hilarious black people been getting targeted for decades with racism, and people thinking alll of them are thieves or rapists. White people start calling out white people and people are throwing a fits lmao what a time to be a live.

shít take it further back then that don't forget that once upon a time we had to actually hunt for food, build fires and try to make the best straw huts we could to keep warm.

Hell if a caveman could see the kind of apples we eat today he would collapse in shock at the sheer size of the apple, in caveman days fruits like apples were much smaller and were not as sweet and juicy. Thats just an example.

We complain about our mundain lifestyle without realizing how lucky we actually are to live in today's world. Simple things like taking a trip to the grocery store and buying meat and veggies as we please instead of having to go out into a forest or jungle and kill or be killed. Not to mention transportation. Our ancestors had to walk miles for fresh water and food, we had to build crude tools and weapons, had all kinds of medical problems due to primitive medicines and died very young. Simple things we take for granted daily...

There is good and bad in every time of existence. Obviously depending on where you live things get trickier, but bad things from long ago still exist today in different forms. Whether slavery, dictators, war, crime, sex trafficking, racism etc. To your point about life 300 years ago with natives at war with invading europeans, how about 10,000bc? I remember playing some game called far cry primal, where you play a person living in that time. The game starts off with a black screen that reads 2016, and all you are hearing is the sounds of people on cellphones, cars, etc etc. Then the year starts rewinding very fast and as the years gets further and further back, all the sounds keep changing to match the years passing by. You start to hear guns, war with hand weapons, different languages all the way until it reaches 10,000 bc, and then it turns into silence. And then the sounds of a forest., and you are put into the body of a man getting ready to hunt wooly mammoth with his clan. It pretty much reminded me like f***, everything was just make fire, hunt and dont die and that was all that mattered. ok story time is over lol

We take modern conveniences for granted every time we get a headache and take a Nuprin, which we got at the store which we could have walked but drove to instead.. I understand that we are living in a fossil fuel bubble, and then when we run out we will all go back to not having two pennies to pinch together.
