After Ali, does it really matter?

People say names like Patterson but he would not have survived as a heavyweight in the golden era that followed in the late 60s and early to mid 70s.

Haye had lightning hands but never won the big one, so does that even matter?

Tyson may be up for second place but his balls and attitude let him down.

Joe Louis' hands weren't particular fast when it came to combinations. Good for single shot counters and he carried more power per punch than a lot of fast heavies but then again, he spent a large chunk of his career fighting bums.

Again, Ali is just too far ahead when it comes to most at heavyweight.
