  • Which fighters didn't get a fair shake?

whether it be promotional wise, management, injuries , bad judging decisions ,they just didn't get the break that their skill deserved

when Agbeko first got hot, he wasted a ton of time doing nothing
pretty sure it was a Don King thing, but not positive

Margarito was frozen outta the top mix at WW when King controlled it
Mayorga, Spinks, and Judah weren't permitted near Margarito

Augustus was too good to be a journeyman with a bum record
he got robbed a few times in fights he really won
he did lose some legitimately, but he seemed to really get buried
at his best surely he coulda gotten at least a belt or 2 at 135-140

Lara got it with no Vaseline in the Williams fight
thought he beat Vanes too, which coulda got him a title shot
              gotta rewatch the Molina fight
remember it as being a fight that could go either way
but people talk down on him now like he outright lost it

Campillo got shafted badly against Cloud
he got robbed against Shumenov too

Jesus Chavez was very much in the fight with Floyd
but his corner pulled him out when he was still fighting his ass off
he gave Terrible hell fighting with arm for 8 or 9 rds
he mighta rallied to win if he had both hands to use
then he blew out his leg or something vs Diaz
he'd just gotten a title back then, and poof, bad luck returns

Toney got robbed in both of the Griffin fights
he got robbed in the 1st fight with Peter too
that was really his last good fight, he coulda gotten a title shot
he was done after that and the rematch was sad to watch

Amir Khan doesn't get a fair shake from the fans/media.

Shamelessly ducked by Bradley in a potential super fight at 140lbs.

Goes to Peterson's hometown and takes punches from a guy who is on PEDS which somehow gets conveniently forgotten. Gets ripped off by judges/ref/man in black hat.

Signs rematch with Peterson with a 50/50 split on UK revenue even though hardly anyone in the UK knows who Peterson is. Peterson fails a drug test so Khan's 12 week training camp in the UK/US/Phillipines goes to waste.

Takes a fight against the next available champion. Does ANOTHER training camp and gets KO'd.

Khan was on the verge of landing a Mayweather fight and his career got derailed partly thanks to a man who was too chicken **** to fight him and another who used PEDs and dodgy officiating to beat him.
