Why the negative talk, everything from Mayweather's camp indicates Mayweather will fight either Pac or Mosely, two fighters everyone claim he's been ducking. Mayweather really doesnt have a choice no one wants to see him fight anyone except Pac, Mosely is a decent plan B but it doesnt have the same hype.

It wasn't any long period of time. This isn't difficult to figure out at all. Pacquiao's side has a distorted perception of facts. But numbers don't lie. People do."

                LOL. This is rubbish.

They are hanging on to numbers they did in the past with Oscar. Ridiculous. Of course Pacquiao sold less with Marquez (400K, actually, not 375K) because he wasn't as well-known back then. It's only since ...wait for it... he fought Oscar that Pacquiao's popularity has grown massively. Just like Floyd.

                What a coincidence!

What was Floyd selling before he fought Oscar? Can someone find me the PPV sales figures?

And would it be fair to compare those sales to what he sells now, POST-OSCAR? Of course not!

As I keep repeating over and over again, what happened in the past isn't all that significant now because he does not currently sell 2.4 million. The only reason "he" did such high numbers was because of Oscar.

Damn. Oscar made both these guys what they currently are. Hatton boosted Floyd's sales massively, too.

Team Mayweather are serious about the fight. Can't remember any negotiation difficulties ever occurring on their side once they've set their mind on a fight. It'll be signed in early December.

There is too much money to be made for this fight not to happen. Even before the Cotto fight there was media build up for a Floyd/Manny showdown so minimizing its feasibility is almost an insult to the boxing world. But then again egos have been known to slay dragons so I can see why many of you have this take on it.

                    Peace.
