Too old at 31 to join boxing

    Maybe at 40 it would be safer to just go pro and pick easy fights coming up. That way, you'd know for sure what to expect. At that age, leave the gambling to whether or not you get injured, not stopped.

      You have to go through a lot of extra tests to go pro at that age too.

        Go to the gym now to get fit. It would be a terrible gym if they demanded you spar in the first 4 to 6 weeks. Give gym's a call and tell them what yu want to achieve to see if they are the right fit for you.
