By far the best i ever saw was Sergio Martinez against Dzinziruk.

Dzinziruk was considered to have one of the best jabs and one of the highest uses of it. I remember pre figt the hbo guys were hyping it up and windering how martinez was going to deal with it.

But from very early on, martinez started moving his head up and down vertically, completely nullifying that jab.

Martinez outlanded dzinziruks jab by an embarassing amount.

      Orthodox vs Orthodox:

      1) Catch the opponent's jab with your right, then shoot your own. This is great for someone who has reach on you, so you can stop their jab half way through. However, the opponent can counter this counter by feinting and you put your right hand out to catch their jab (to no avail) leaving your chin open for a lead left hook, if they can pull it off of course.

      2) Slip to your right moving forward while shooting your own. I liked this better.

            They may.

Sometimes you're in the zone and forget about your own strengths. Hence, why you have a corner, a third eye that is supposed to keep you in check.

For a short mans perspective you can watch Henry Armstrong or Joe Frazier.

Both were great at dipping low underneath their taller opponents jab and popping back up with hard left hook counters. Once they have evaded the jab and closed the gap they had the skill and determination to stay buried on their opponents chest and make the jab an obsolete weapon.

Armstrong vs Barney Ross is a good example which is on Youtube in good quality and obviously Frazier vs Ali a great example too.
