On a more serious note, women's basketball is not a real sport. Add to the fact it's euro women's basketball and it's definitely not a real sport.

    Get mad

I just realised Tunney has bumped one of his many threads about me in the Thunderdome suggesting that this topic is "having a go at the Jews". It's clearing having a go at religiously prescribed "modesty" laws and why they don't mean what they say they do, but I guess that for Tunney reading comprehension is a bit like liking black people and not looking a cocks on a nudist beach, so he doesn't have anything to do with it.

if the whole team wore t-shirts as their uniform the issue would be resolved.

I think that the league has dictated the uniforms - they have to conform to certain standards and this includes those vest things.

actually i say the whole thing is bull **** and both sides are being dicks

fiba rules specifically allow shoulder braces, she may not wear a t-shirt but she can still cover he shoulders if thats the issue.

Well then why doesn't she wear protective equipment?

becasue shes trying to make something out of nothing, just like that soccer team that could have worn the safety allowed head coverings but instead decided to make something out of nothing showing up in full head coverings and neck coverings.

though id imagine she dosnt know she can wear shoulder/upper arm protective coverings and fiba is trying to make an example out of her just as an example was made out of the womens soccer team.

"But why can't we wear our religiously prescribed desert headgear?"
"Because it makes you look like a bunch of fucking nuns."

All leagues should resist this sort of disruptive religious demand. Hey why don't you sacrifice the fun and glory of playing football or whatever and then god will have a massive chub on for you when you die.

It's sort of funny that when religious people talk about making sacrifices for their religion, they're usually addressing other people!
