  • Best type of Amateur Competition Glove?

Should i go for the short-wrist International style gloves like Windy or TKO, Medium sized like Everlast or Title, or the long cuff Ringside/ Top Contender gloves. Also, does it matter what color i buy?

are the windy gloves made to USA boxing specifications?

i'm not sure of the difference between the amateur gloves, but are you gonna use them for? just wondering.

if i wanted one, i'd get the everlast, they just look cool to me.

assuming amateur gloves are supposed to be safe, i'd probably use them for sparring when you want it to simulate an amataeur bout.

oh, they make you buy your own competition glove? or you just want your own?

i thought they always provide the gloves for you, i guess it depends on what amateur program you're with.

The gloves that i used were Green Hill, but they provide u with gloves anyway cause they have to be ABA approved for competition.
