I don't think you know what you're talking about.

O'Rourke literally visited every single Texas county in person. He was personable and energetic and fired up a lot of the younger voters. He built a grassroots movement the old fashioned way, the furthest thing from a media creation.

And unlike Ted Cruz he was actually born in Texas and received more votes from native born Texans than Cruz did.

It was quite a remarkable campaign. Especially for a Democrat in a hugely Republican state.

Ah damn. This guy lives in Texas. I always got that felling. It has been confirmed now.

If the unfortunate happened and O'Rourke won, he would've been the perfect candidate to run in 2020 and probably would've been the Democrats front runner. Young, politically savvy, and the right skin color to help those white people on the fence who got turned off by the Democrats disgusting use of identity politics. If the Democrats are smart in 2020 they will run someone white and preferably male, as the black folk will vote Democrat no matter who the candidate is, meanwhile the white people Democrats turned off might be fooled enough to vote for them again.
