I just don't get why it's so hard for GGG fans to admit canelo won.

This is boxing. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Personally, I thought GGG won the fight by 3 points but I don't have a problem with judges for scoring it for Canelo because a lot of those rounds were close.

I thought Alvarez made several minor adjustments in the rematch like: Staying off the ropes, landing the cleaner power punches and being the aggressor; Although not the effective aggressor because he was still eating a lot of shots while coming forward, as he forced Gennady to fight off the back foot.

Prizefighting is a subjective exercise. Judges come in with a built in preference, bias or partiality for a particular fighting style and fighter.

This time the judges favored Canelo's non effective aggressiveness and cleaner power punching over Golovkin's jabs and ring generalship. In the end the judges scored this fight on body language.

In other words, they scored it for the man who they believed that wanted it the most and in that case it was Saul Canelo Alvarez.

same reason Canelo fans can't accept that the majority of people felt Canelo lost both fights and there's a good case that he did.

same reason a lot of Floyd fans can't accept that plenty of people thought he lost to Castillo and Floyd haters are adamant that he did.

same reason Kovalev and Ward fans still argue about the first fight.

Fans are always going to side with their fighter in the event of a close or controversial decision.

Shows they are bias.

Truth is:
-Nelo won both fights
-T.B.E. won both fights
-S.O.G. won both fights.

I had it a draw. This was Canelos best performance, against a GGG who looked a little old the first half (although he looked better in the second half).

And it was only good enough for a draw. But he got the benefit in the cards, as well as the 1st fight, which GGG clearly won

Canelo showed heart and deserves props but he didn’t win 7 rounds

My question is why Canelo fans and Gennady haters are happy with results that didn’t reflect the actual fight

Nelo won both times dude, give up the lies....That's why the fighters you guys always overrate end up losing to the good fighters.

also, nobody is suggesting that judging facial damage is an effective way to score a fight..... it isn't, and it can often be misleading..... but, considering the fact that Golovkin could not get his game going at all, and was being backed up all night..... it told the whole story in that fight

Pretty sure golovkin landed more power punches to the head....or do we count body shots as the main punches now above head shots.

I'm more than sure Triple L didn't land many punches PERIOD.

Not only were they not counted but the ones that landed were hard. The jabs that Golovkin landed in the final rounds were as hard or close to it as the ones he landed during the initial rounds while Canelo's power punches clearly lost steam. Yeah Canelo's were flashy though. Remember a fight is scored by rounds. Golovkin on the back foot.
Watch his earlier fights. Golovkin usually steps back to avoid punches and circles the ring. Its not something shocking to see him do that against Canelo. Obviously he did it more often during the rematch because of Canelo's hand speed. If you want to say Golovkin fought on the back foot more than usual, fine. But to say Oh look Golovkin is backing up that's not his style is absolutely ridiculous. How to fight a pressure fighter.
Use your jab.
Do not go to the ropes
Circle your opponent.
Step back when you are under pressure.
Plus Golovkin landed more punches in most rounds and won the championship rounds.
All those things Golovkin did. What he didn't do is work the body.
I think the judges got it wrong

When canelo is getting all the props by even ggg fans and they don't have not even one compliment for lil g but then end the sentence by saying "with that, i still had ggg winning" makes no sense.

Everyone is doing it. Everyone, even dan raphael, teddy atlas. All the ggg sac riders. Hell, even Abel Sanchez can't say one good thing about the way ggg fought.
