  • Floyd doesn't age at the same rate as others?

I think I've heard it all now.

    • To hear, you must first open your ears and eyes, grasshopper. Correct, defensive wizards do not age at the same pace as brawlers. What a surprise! If it is too tough, I will have AlexKid come over and break it down.

Jus' a fact, lil' lady. Floyd practiced minimalism in the ring for a reason.
            Not necessarily true.

All fighters are differently regardless of style or defensive ability.

Someone like Manuel Ortiz for example who was an aggressive brawler who took a lot of punishment had a long prosperous title reign and career whereas Wilfred Benitez one of the best defensive fighters of all time was shot to **** before he even hit age 30.

Floyd was well passed his best days by the time he was heading toward his mid 30's

            • The greatest fighters are the old timers, like Jack Johnson, who fought over 700 rounds in his career. And Joe Lewis who fought every month and sometimes twice a month for many years.

Different era. Can't be replicated in this day and age.

Just a big money fight. Any boxer that has ever lived would do the same.
Hell, Nearly every big fighter now ie manny, canelo, Oscar, etc is calling out an 0-1 novice for that money
