For someone who seems to be really into politics, you haven't been paying attention I guess. Or either you're really young. Do some research.

Do you know what the Iran-Contra Affair was? Do you know how the government made money for the contras in Nicaragua because there was fear that there'd be another Cuba in America's backyard if nothing was done.

The government had already disallowed funding the contras, so the CIA made a scheme to fund them through untraceable ways.

1. By selling weapons to Iran.
2. By allowing the selling of cocaine from Nicaragua in America.

Which is why South Central was flooded with cocaine which soon became crack. Where did you think that cocaine came from? It wasn't coming from L.A.

Then you start getting crack houses, that suddenly need protection. So the gangs start asking the Nicaraguans for guns. Where do you think the Uzis and all of the other guns came from??? They didn't come from L.A.

And the money was all used to fund the Contras to overthrow the Sandinista government in Nicaragua.

All of this could then be flipped to crack being more stigmatized than cocaine to lock up more minorities into the big business that prisons are.
