in the inner city a mans rights are not always guaranteed by those who are supposed to protect and serve.

even so, rioting and destroying your city is not the answer for change. unless they were looking to transfer their ghettos in to burned down ghettos, then I guess burning your neighborhood is the best course of action. Then the tax payers are supposed to give them new neighborhoods? I don't think so.

It should be on them to go to Home Depot to fix this but they won't, the same people that destroyed it will complain if local govt doesn't just fix everything.

Detroit never recovered from the riots, used to be one of the best cities in the country but now it's just barren and burnt down. If this continues we will have many 'Detroits' through out the nation.

burning, looting and vandalizing.... it does a city good?

More money needs to be available for people to get education/training, too much unskilled labor and too many jobs that require no real skill. So much wasteful spending on things that don't benefit society, we could really put that tax money to good use and get a return.

Detroit had public schools that rated amongst the best in the nation, Detroit was a city still on the rise and was considered a great place to live. that is until the riots. from that point on the money moved away from the city leaving it to become what it has today, a city for the most part in ruins.

rioting, it does a city good..............

Try keeping that same attitude when you're 7x more likely to get stopped for no reason whatsoever. Or 8x more likely to get arrested for a non-violent misdemeanor than that of another demographic.

factor in that cities are jam packed full of people, therefore there will be a bigger police force as well as more occurances of confrontations with the police. then factor in that the inner cities are predominately black and we are back where we started.

Can you honestly imagine being a cop in one of those ****holes having to deal with those costco econosize toiletpaper looters day after day after day after day trying to reason with people with barely functional brains who have no emotions other than irrational anger.

I'm surprised we don't hear more about cops just going bonkers and hosing people down. The worst thing the media can cling to is when they screw up and kill someone who fought them.

Yeah, tough stuff. Now imagine waking up every single day having to deal with the fact that you might die at the hands of police just for being the wrong color. Who knows, maybe it'll be quick like Walter Scott and Oscar Grant. Maybe they'll shoot in the back so we don't see it coming.
