So GGG ducked the “elite” competition in his prime, but fought them in mid-thirties?

I cant believe GGG and Ward are still being compared.

Team GGG knew what we all know now, they are not in the same class.

This discussion is disrespectful to Ward man.

He is a good fighter but not great like his bunboys hoped. Supposed ducks don't count for legacy especially when your resume is filled with 95%+ bums.
Name another fighter that has taken on his mando as a replacement with a month to go before the fight? It’s ok I’ll wait

If GGG wanted to challenge himself he would have went to 168 a long time ago, heck, he could have fought Abrham, Frock, Kessler, and Ward when they were all fighting each other. Dude didn't budge a pound from 160 and here we are comparing him to fighters who went up 2 and 3 weight classes to find challenges. Stayed in 160 when 160 was weak as heck and 168 was loaded. It's not like GGG dropped out of the sky 3 years ago, he was around and active when a ton of quality guys were active in Europe at 168. GGG made guys come to his weight, never budged.

In the end Ward moved up to 175 defeating champions like Barrera & Kovalev twice. ggg? Lost to a guy with ZERO wins at 160.
Ward had his chance. He waited and waited, then declined.
