I dont know how anyone can say Golovkin. He's just not that good. Sorry. There are at least 3 obvious fighters that have looked much better against similar levels of talent.

        ------------------------------------

Marquez KNOCKED him out cold!! Are you that silly?
        That aside, take a look at the tomato cans Manny has fought over the last several years;
Brandon Rios - a human punching bag who had just lost his last fight.
        Jesse Vargas - Seriously?
Diaz - Who is he again?
Jeff Horn - Nobody knew him prior to fighting Pac
Algieri - Nobody knew him prior to fighting Pac
Cotto - weight drained to 145
Oscar - weight drained to 147
Margarito - Weight drained to 150
Mosley - he was coming off a one sided beating by Mayweather
Hatton - he was knocked out by Mayweather

Dude! You are either a really stupid man or just a nuthugger!

Two words in my humble Opinion:

            Terence Crawford.

It's hard to say. The active boxers don't have a consistent body of work. Names I will throw out there are Canelo, Golovkin, Lomachenko, Rigondeaux, Garcia, Crawford and Thurman.

If Golovkin or Canelo picked up a decisive victory over one another, they'd be my clear picks for number one. If Rigondeaux was active in a competitive division, he'd be my pick. If Lomachenko puts had another solid year under his belt, he'd be my pick for number 1.

For one reason or another, I can't go with any of the listed names as my number 1.

You're right, I have no business trying to start a boxing discussion on a boxing forum. And it certainly makes me brainless for not knowing what every posters P4P list looks like without asking.
