    Perfect replacement for Arsene Wenger!
Haha. Nah man you don't want him at arsenal.

    • I think Lucien Favre would be the best to replace Arsene Wenger. Because of the style of play he has his clubs use and the discipline that he instills in the players.

Guys like Luis Enrique and Allegri are fraudulent. Enrique was a complete failure at Roma and causing riots around the same time Villas Boas was running Chelsea into the ground.

Allegri is a fraud who benefitted from a stacked roster at Milan with Ibrahimovic and benefitted from taking over the best team in Italy in Juventus without actually improving the club.

Not to mention if he can't seem to handle the pressure of coaching la liga with Barcelona who only have Atlético and Real to worry about how's he gonna handle the PL where very few games are easy?

        • I hope Arsenal go for Luis Enrique tbh, it would cement their place as a mediocre mid-table side.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are the 2 most pressured jobs in world football. Not comparable to other leagues.

Just look at Wenger, he would not last a season at Barcelona with his results in recent years.

And it's a myth about all easy games in La Liga btw. Bilbao, Sociedad, Celta Vigo, Villarreal, Valencia (usually), Sevilla.. these are all tough games to play. Real Madrid got slapped about at their own gaff the other day at home to Las Palmas, Barca lost at home to Alaves, failed to beat Malaga at home, got outplayed by Betis etc etc.

yeah...at Real madrid for example is not just the pressure from upper class management to worry about but their supprrter are the most critical in the footballing world. Real's supporter are not shy of berating their own players even legend like cassilas, Hierro, raul or Cr7. they also wont hesistate giving an enemy full standing ovation when thy play good. Ronaldinho, Messi and Del piero already given standing ovation by bernabeu's crowd once or twice.

                Every job comes with pressure.
And my point is if he's claiming he can't take the pressure and he's winning with Barcelona, how is he gonna handle the pressure when he loses? And with Arsenal he would lose, a lot more.

                • Diego Simeone is the only guy who could go into Arsenal and make them a real team straight away.

But Arsenal have that Liverpoolesque delusion when it really comes down to it. They believe they are some kind of Barcelona lite team who has to play breathtaking football. Simeone would kick his Granny in the teeth for 3 points.

The irony of it is that Arsenal don't even play good football anymore. Chelsea are traditionally seen as the dullards but I enjoy our explosive counter attacks and one touch play in tight spaces, and marauding wing backs this season. Arsenal will play well when all the stars align and specifically Ozil and Sanchez both play well at the same time.

The issue with Arsenal is simple - some of those players are not good enough for Arsenal or shouldn't be in the starting XI.

Take Walcott - he's o.k. But why has he had a 10 year Arsenal career? A team that should be challenging for a title. He'd get nowhere near the Chelsea, City, United, Spurs, or Liverpool first teams. His contract will have been renegotiated several times by now. I bet that guy is on 150k at least. Pragmatically speaking he is definitely the least talented player earning that money on Earth. That is the problem.

Arsenal aren't cutthroat at all. The whole set up is so comfortable and that stems from the manager. An unsackable manager who is as old as the hills.

They say be careful what you wish for but we all know as neutrals Arsenal will get better if Wenger leaves.

                    Nah not having that sorry.

You lose one game at Barca and you are in trouble. That's the pressure you face every single week because you have to win. You go into every game with the pressure of winning, that's massive.

At Arsenal he could lose a game every now and then and it wouldn't be a problem as long as he could get them back to at least challenging for title.

There is still pressure but it's not the same as at Barca or Madrid.

Bear in mind Madrid sacked Capello after he won the league because he didn't win the Champions League and they didn't like his style of play.

                    • I wouldn't even bet on Arsenal actually getting better if Wenger leaves.

Simeone would struggle his first year or two with Arsenal they are pure luxury players. From back line to attacking players. They are all luxury players who don't have a blue collar nature to them. Absolutely none of them actually work hard to win the ball or anything. They have no grit to them. As silk as they come both mentally and physically. (excluding Sanchez who actually wants to win enough to drop alongside Koscielny and then spring forward on attacks)

That goes for the likes of Oxlade and Coquelin as well. You'd think the way they are built, they would be hard nose players but they aren't. Soft as toilet tissue. Simeone can't work with that. His players all need discipline and tenacity. Traits that absolutely no Arsenal player has.

And with the outlook on managers. You have to look no further than Man United who handed the keys of the kingdom to Moyes and Van Gal. Whom burned it down and then subsequently made them stale as fook.
