  • Let's talk the real reasons the AJ v. Ruiz fight announcement is being delayed

Over two months ago we were told the venue will be confirmed shortly. We were told AJ is adamant he wants to go back to the place it happened, MSG, to redeem himself. Now AJ is saying he had no reason to come to America and he'll fight to get the fight in the UK. All this time we've been told Ruiz has no say in location.

The past 3 or 4 weeks we've been told the announcement is coming the following week. So the latest is early next week we'll find out where the fight will be held.

In between all this we find out Hearn is having trouble making the fight with DAZN. Neither one of these guys have won the bet btw.

So what are some real reasons this fight announcement is being delayed? Not that Saudi Arabia fake news.

Yeah the real reason is the PBC are being feminine and looking for a way out of it. According to Haymon riders like you he has one hand on the belts and if he can get Ruiz out of the rematch without losing his belts and lots of money. Sneaky flaky inhouse PBC always trying to ruin the sport.

Ruiz and Haymon trying to get out of the fight. It's obvious to everyone. PBC fighters are ducking and delaying fights on the orders of Al Haymon and we have promoter fans defending them.

        Why would they?

Because Haymon wants to control the HW divisions and freeze non PBC fighters out, like he's doing at WW. He'd prefer the titles get scattered than Joshua to get them back.

Nobody will agree on who is to blame. But nobody here is surprised that’s for sure.

UKasuals: AJ controls the terms of the contract. Ruiz has to do what he says. If he doesn't he can't fight for years while he's being sued

Also UKasuals: Ruiz and Haymon are trying to get out of the fight so he can fight Wilder next

According to the UKasuals you can't blame Ruiz and Haymon because Ruiz signed his life away when he signed the contract and Hearn & AJ control everything

They may not control who wins the rematch, which has them scared to pull the trigger.

At least that’s how it’s looking every day that goes by without a decision.
