                Didn't even think of this, but yea. When you're born take the DNA & he's booked & you're booking all the future generations to make this a 100% thing at some point.

                A potential issue is that it's already computationally expensive to compare DNA to all previous criminal offenders. The scale would increase a huge deal if everyone had DNA and fingerprints on file.
                How expensive is it? I assumed it'd be rather cheap. I thought it was all done via a computer that'd just ding on a match. Is it more complicated then that?

                And I'm sure the damage criminal cause would be dropped immensely to so its not like there isn't some income coming from somewhere.

                      Look at the reward doe. Crime is drastically altered & lots more people who should be locked up are locked up.

                      But I don't see why they couldn't make it a law to have babies DNA'd at birth along with all the normal sh^t we do to them.
