Guns are used in self defense about 60-80,000 times (low end) to 5 million times (high end) a year in usa.

Numbers vary widely.

Statistics are hard to categorize and depends on definition of self defense.

One only has to go to YouTube and search for videos of ppl shooting criminals.

I know about the black on black crime but that's something else. When it comes to mass shootings in public places, they are predominantly white. What gives? We talk about mental health all the time, but whenever these shootings come up, it's always a white person. Is mental health a massive issue in the white community? Must be.

If you're trying to make the point that banning certain guns won't help because people will break the law anyway then you're wrong.

There are more deadly and effective weapons available on the black market such as miniguns, rpgs and hand grenades but everytime we see one of these shootings they are using weapons that are easily obtained.

We had a terrorist attack here in melbourne yesterday and only one person was killed because the guy had to use a car full of bbq gas bottles as a bomb and a knife as a weapon because guns and nitrogen Chemicals are strictly controlled.
