A man who “didn’t want a child” killed his pregnant girlfriend during a fight in their Staten Island apartment early Thursday, according to a published report and police.

Bridget Shenk, 35, was shot in the chest as she and boyfriend Keith Jackson were having a heated argument in the hallway of their Trantor Place apartment in Port Richmond just after midnight.

Shenk stumbled back into the apartment, where she was found dead in a pool of blood, officials said.

She was several months pregnant, police said.

Jackson was arrested at the scene and charged with murder and possession of a weapon.
