Not like he was partying and getting *****ed up

It's absolutely normal to be filled with adrenaline and excitement the night before your biggest day.

Keith had plenty of energy to be alert during the fight
So the concept of fans saying a fighter ''was drained'' (which is why he couldn't perform), you think this physical obstacle is even easier when you're not rejuvenating? It't not about sleeping very late in the AM and getting 8 hours to then wake up at 12PM. The body best rejuvenates at 12:00-3:00AM. That's a fact and a science. So if you are fighting at 158lbs on fight night from 147 the night before you best believe cells need the proper H20 to feel ripped and ready.

Thurman fought well but Pac fought a little better and won. Get used to it.
        ^^^^^^^^ on point like always

You know what I didn't think about that at all. That he would need rest & recovery for rehydration

Lots of fighters shift their sleep routines so they can wake up later and be ready for a fight at 10/11pm.

If he was drinking and partying then that's different.

Doesn't mean anything. Thurman was ready.

Nothing worse than waking up on fight day and having to find something to do with yourself for 12 hours to a fight in Vegas Screw that.
I don't think Thurman was at 100% but I think he was ready. I think he would've done it if he didn't get kd. It was a super close fight. Pacquiao won a couple rounds bigger than Thurman but Keith had a really good stretch of rounds midway through the fight.

An inch more from Thurman could've won that fight.

Pacquiao is incredible, as always. Another historic moment in boxing brought to us by Manny Pacquiao.

Really puts into perspective how good Floyd and Manny both were. Once in a lifetime type of fighters and we got 2.

Daniel Jacobs was very responsible doing this as was GGG and many fighters who come READY TO WAR PROPER yet are skeletons at weighins. The best athletes of any sport sleep early.

              As a matter of fact..

Have you ever gone to the gym and did a massive workout but slept late and the next day nothing really surprising?

              vs...

You do a massive workout, sleep early, wake up early, your muscles are dense and tight, you feel the GAIN in your mass!!

This is why Thurman is a big disappointment. All Haymon tricks

At least he has money to gamble. Broner spends his time begging for dimes - literally.

Done want to hear a word outta the mouth of a guy whose best win was against a shot Malignaggi twenty years ago.

Dude is a pretender and continues to talk. Whatever.
