  • Manny Pacquiao Was Never At A Significant Height/Reach Disadvantage In His Fights

Earlier today, a Pacquiao fan tried to argue that Manny is very small and that he gives up a lot of height and reach to compete with the top guys. He says because of this, Manny should be the P4P GOAT. Well, let's look into that:

    Manny Pacquiao - 5'6"½ ft, 67" reach
    Ricky Hatton - 5'7" ft, 65" reach
Juan Manuel Marquez - 5'6" ft, 67" reach
    Brandon Rios - 5'8" ft, 68" reach
    Miguel Cotto - 5'8" ft, 67" reach
    Timothy Bradley - 5'6" ft, 69" reach
    Adrien Broner - 5'6" ft, 69" reach
    Keith Thurman - 5'6" ft, 69" reach
    Lucas Matthysse - 5'6 ft, 69" reach

Giving up an inch or an inch and half in height, and 1-2 inches in reach does not make you a P4P GOAT.

When he did fight guys with significant height/reach advantages, they were already way passed their prime or simply bums. Oscar was 35 and weight drained, Shane Mosley was 40 years old, Floyd Mayweather was 38, Joshua Clottey was a bum, Jeff Horn was a bum and Antonio Margarito was a bum without his hand wraps.

Manny Pacquiao is so overrated by these dumb casual fans. I can't wait for the day that all pac tards slowly disappear from these boxing forums again.

              Manny is 5'5 1/2.

He's the smallest welterweight to competetively fight at that weight since Henry Armstrong who was also 5'5 1/2

                  Does it really matter?

Honestly when two men get in the ring with different skill sets ,attributes, mind sets the one who can apply his technique over his opponents is all that matters and most times pac man has done his thing.

There are a few styles he had trouble with but it’s boxing and it happens.

This fan boy shhhht and this nitpicking over critiquing trying discrediting boxers who’ve stepped in the ring is annoying. Because I’m sure you have a height weight and reach advantage over Manny Pacquiao and I’m will to bet if you stepped in the squared circle he’d beat your assss

                    Height doesn't really mean alot

We have weight classes, not height classes
