In the PBC Pacquiao sweepstakes, it appears that Spence is now the lead horse for beating an undefeated “elite.” Pacquiao is only in this for the money now and Spence’s performance is going to make for great marketing of a possible passing of the torch.
Are we going to hear from Thurman soon? How is he going to feel getting leapfrogged for a career high payday. I would like to see how he articulates this.
The other champion, Porter, I don’t know what’s going on with him. He got badly dissed by Spence in the ring for not fighting him and then he played subservient to Pacquiao by saying “if Pac doesn’t fight Spence, then I will step up.” Why would he say that. Why doesn’t he just go ahead and say I’ll fight you next for calling me out as a coward. It’s like he’s shying away from losing his WBC belt.
