Pure political nonsense decision, as is obvious to anyone with a fraction of a brain cell. Transexuals claim that they're real women born into the wrong bodies, but their expression of femininity is almost always a grotesque parody of what real women are like, a repulsive facade thrown up by someone who has only a superficial understanding of what it is to be a woman.

One other forum I read pointed out that there are three kinds of transexual:

A) Autogynephiles: men for whom turning into a woman is a sex fantasy and are essentially attempting to become the kind of woman they want to sleep with. Most of them become "lesbians" after their transformation.

B) ****sexuals: Men who try and pass as women in order to attract other men.

C) Broken men: Men who have failed so hard at being men that they mentally break and try to reboot themselves as women, attempting to burn all bridges to their old life in the process. Severe depression usually ensues when they subsequently fail at being women as well and their new life falls apart even worse than their old one. Abnormal sexual development is a common them with these people so there's usually some kind of crossover with category A).

Out of all of these C) is arguably the most mentally ill and is usally the most vocal, although A) usually has some kind of deep-seated mental issues as well. Most of the craziest trannies come from these categories. Category B) are probably the least crazy overall and the least obnoxious but still not exactly sane. They're also arguably rarer than the other two categories. And then there's the whole satellite system of orbiters and enablers who think that enabling the self-destructive behaviours exhibited by all types (but especially C) is the progressive thing to do, leading to the decision made in the OP. All kinds of international bodies, WHO, UN, EU etc. become more of a joke every day.
