Socialism is far superior, capitalism benefits the rich and powerful, and puts everyone against each other which is what your seeing in America now.

The top 5 happiest countries in the world are all Nordic countries which are heavily socialist democracies. These studies are done by non-biased en****** and study every aspect of society.

Every year, it's the same top 5 countries. It's working so well, one if them is experimenting with just flat out giving people a monthly check for nothing to see how it works.

Your Nordic countries report being the happiest in the world because they haven't experienced anything outside of their socialist system. I'm sure if you asked people in communist Soviet Union they'd all tell you they're pretty happy as well, getting their free education and toilet paper.

But at a closer look once you realize that the Nordic countries are literally paying a 50% income tax, a 20% sales tax, and their products are all 3 times more expensive than in the USA, you'll quickly realize how much you rather live in the USA with aspirations of making it big than in Norway where your aspirations of climbing above being at the lowest common denominator are nearly impossible.

They pay more than 50% in taxes actually, and they don't give a ****.

Imagine growing up in a place where your health care was fully paid for, your college was fully paid for, you knew you had a job waiting for you with a pension, your streets were clean, water was clean, no crime, no wars, no companies ripping off the tax payers.

That's why they are happy, they have everything they need, no need to screw other people over or be geeedy.

And ps, we already have socialism, it's called corporate socialism. Huge tax breaks for the rich and subsidies to fortune 500 companies.

You pay taxes, wall mart doesn't, and they receive subsides, that makes sense to you? You've been brainwashed son, they want to believe you don't deserve more while they take everything from you.

          That's capitalism....

Examine that graph my friend, and take note that the most socialistic/communistic countries on that list are France, Belgium, Venezuela, and Ireland, all more so than your Nordic countries, and they rank at the bottom of the list.

And socialist countries like North Korea, and China don't even make the list.

Therefore to make an argument that the Nordic countries are the happiest because they are socialist while ignoring the fact that there are far more socialistic countries who are less happy than the USA and many countries in general creates a false impression that a countries happiness is due to their economic structure.

It's very convenient to list Socialist "Nordic" countries and omit Socialist countries like Venezuela, North Korea, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, and France. All of whom are very socialist in nature and all way below the USA in terms of the happiness index.

Pointing to Nordic countries who are all heavily ****geneous with populations of 5-10 million per country, and who have enormous funds like in the case of Norway's near trillion dollar oil fund which subsidizes their whole country is being ignorant of what truly quantifies these countries happiness.

As for my healthcare, I'd rather keep half of my income and buy the health insurance that best fits my needs, and at the same time pay 3 times less for items and when I do I rather pay a 5-7% tax over a 20-25% tax. And if I am poor there is always medicaid, welfare, and food stamps.

What does that chart even represent, this argument makes no sense.

I can point out WAY more capitalist countries that have failed than socialist ones.

This is such a weak argument. Blaming failed socialist countries on socialism makes no sense, socialism had nothing to do with their failure.

Yes it does, it sure did in the case of Soviet Union, and it sure is the case with Venezuela right now.

Those countries failures were based on internal problems that had nothing to do with socialism, mostly because they are ****ing broke.

Again, I can list off failed capitalist countries all day. A lot of the countries you listed aren't socialist at all anyway.

Cuba is the perfect example of socialism working, one of the best fee health care systems in the world, and they have a better literacy rate than America despite the fact they are completely broke.

And again, we have corporate socialism, that is a benefit to the rich of a capitalist system. Republicans are passing a budget that will increase debt by 9 trillion. It's mostly tax breaks for the rich. That's just the beginning with this president.

Your going to pay for it for the rest of your life, just like your paying for all of our wars, and our bailout to wall street. Enjoy your capitalistic corporate socialism.

I'm sure the nords will be more than happy to keep their system and use the money towards something that will benefit all of society and not just the rich.

Lmao, society Russia failing because of socialism is one of the dumbest most brain washed things you can say.

Soviet Russia failed for the same reason it's failing now, their leaders keep all of the money for themselves while their people have nothing.

Not to mention Soviet Russia was in war 24/7 getting slaughtered by everyone.

None of that is socialism, if anything, that's more capitalistic reasoning
