To be fair, Pep is a great manager. Sure he buys most of his players since leaving Barcelona but you still have to coach them into that style of play. Stubborn with money bags but coaches them well.

That aside, Bayern were clearly hindered by Pep managing them.

All of the players that are getting injured are either in their 30's or close to it and have been playing at a high level for a long time.

Compare City under Pellegrini to the side he has. It's night and day. They play the best football in the World or top 3 anyway.

Liverpool are the only team this season that have their number realistically. Liverpool are in the CL final for a reason. Conte's competition was actually worse than City's this season. Spurs, Utd, Liverpool are all stronger this season. Arsenal have declined a bit. Conte's decision to change his formation was what turned the season around for him. Pep was still finding his feet. So was Jose.

Naingolan really did Roma in. After that error, his spirit died and Roma basically played with 10 men for almost that entire game.

Liverpool v. Real Madrid is gonna be a fun watch though.

Roma seem like natural defeatists. Can only get firing when they have seemingly no hope. That would've been a 4-0 loss against Real in a final.

At least with Liverpool we get two sides in a scrap.
