Ward should never be allowed to be P4P #1, he is awful to watch and boring as hell, he is bad as the ""face of boxing" and bad for business, he will chase the fans away instead of bringing new ones

Kovalev already has a loss to Andre Bored, even if it was an unfair one

It has to be GGG-Canelo winner, both exciting, elite fighters who have never beaten each other before
P4P is supposed to be the best fighter not the most entertaining.

Canelo isn't even top 10 on most peoples lists. Certainly not top 5 like both Ward and Kovalev are.

The winner of Ward-Kovalev obviously should be #1.

Maybe we should reward fighters that bring us entertaining fights.... Runners and huggers should be discouraged

They do get rewarded. More viewers and fans = bigger purses. Just because you don't find someone entertaining doesn't mean others don't.

          canelo vs 3g of course.

if ward wins, he already ''beat'' him.
if kov beats ward, theyre even.

            It's simple really.

If one the four guys KOs his opponent, he rightfully takes the P4P #1 spot.

            Two KOs are very unlikely.

If no KO happens, it depends on how clear the decisions are.

Spoken like a true casual. Beating someone by KO is only one way to win. How is it better than outboxing someone over 12? Plenty of underdogs have KO'd better fighters over the years and got completely dominated in rematches. They weren't better fighters just caught them with a punch.

It really depends on how it goes down. If one fight has a clear and dominant winner and the other is quite close then I'd give it to the former. If both are really close then it will come down to personal bias.

I think these guys are all on the highest level today, so these fights really will determine the best of the best.

...only that none of the guys we are talking about here is an underdog. both are 50:50 fights really. If one ends with a KO, that means something.

It means they won, just like getting a decision means they won.

If one of the fighters is in a close fight and gets a KO, the other completely dominates his opponent and gets the decision why would the KO mean more?
