De Niro or Pacino, the debate doesn't matter : Both of them have sucked **** for the better part of the last decade.

    Happy birthday, Rob.

De Niro's resume is so good that even as crappy as the last 15 years have been (only had about 5-6 good movie's the past 15 years or so), he still was a dominant force for 3 decades, and packed so many good movies on there.

      Mean Streets
      Godfather Pt. II
      Taxi Driver
      New York, New York
      The Deer Hunter
      Raging Bull
      True Confessions
      King of Comedy
Once Upon A Time in America
      Brazil
      The Mission
      Angel Heart
      The Untouchables
      Midnight Run
      Goodfellas
      Awakenings
      Cape Fear
      Backdraft
      This Boy's Life
      Casino
      Heat
      A Bronx Tale
      Sleepers
      Wag the Dog
      Jackie Brown
      Ronin
      Analyze This
      Men of Honor
      Meet the Parents
      Limitless
      Silver Linings Playbook

Definitely one of the best to ever do it. The f**king man.
Let's not pretend that a lot of those movies weren't average at best, and mediocre at worst, just because it's his 70th birthday. I wouldn't even count 'The Untouchables' or 'Backdraft' amongst De Niro films, simply due to the fact that he had less than 20 mins screen time in either picture. ****, less than 5 mins in the former.

Im going to add to the Bob bashing by saying his latest film with John Travolta is ****. 'Killing Season'.

Travolta plays Borat with a very silly looking fake beard, and De Niro plays an old man Rambo. Ive never seen a film which is so damn obvious and predictable from just the first 5 minutes.
War is bad...who is right/wrong....lets be friends. Thats the whole ****ing film. Its a quite annoying cat and mouse game with bad accents and has-been actors.

Yeah he was only briefly in Backdraft, I think you could count The Untouchables though. Basically most of those films either received high praise or generally positive reviews or were good performances by De Niro.

Actors start to take the money and run when they get older, it happens to them all. Just because since the 90's he's only really been in 3-4 good or decent movies, doesn't take away from the dominance in 3 decades (70's, 80's, 90's). Same with Pacino.

I just wish he would have been a little more picky with his roles. Men of Honor was a decent enough film, Meet the Parents was great, Limitless was alright but I enjoyed De Niro in it, and Silver Linings Playbook was great.

Travolta is almost a never was for me, I never liked the guy or thought he was all that. De Niro is one of the greatest. He has done too many take the money and run roles, I watched the trailer for Killing Season........OH MY GOD. What the f**k was up that beard on Travolta??? But anyways, De Niro still shows signs of being a good actor, Silver Linings Playbook he was very good in, nominated for his first Oscar in like two decades, and even though Limitless was a bit of an uneven film, De Niro was solid in it. He needs to be more picky. I'm hoping his mob return in THE FAMILY will be a good one, though Luc Besson isn't exactly Martin Scorsese. Also looking forward to Last Vegas, hopefully with it's all star cast it won't be a total f**k up.

I'm still holding on my dream of Scorsese making The Irishman, which is suppose to star De Niro, Pacino, Pesci, and possibly even Keitel.
