  • Deontay Wilder's other options...

Anyone knows to make him at least $3 million?
Clearly, he has to fight at least 5 fights to make him at least $15 mil.

Working on the hope that the fight gets made for all the belts in April.. its hard to see him fighting anyone other than breazeale.

I would absolutely ****ing love it if he went for a voluntary over charles martin.

    I can imagine it now..
"he's a former world champion with only one defeat, hes a dangerous guy"
" he was unlucky against joshua, he beat the count!!"
" he was ranked x when he fought joshua etc etc"

please boxing gods.. let it happen and please let showtime try and put it on PPV

There really isn't a lot out there, assuming the next fight after Breazeale is a voluntary. Ortiz II? Andy Ruiz? Kownacki?

Based on 1.4 which is his average , Wilder needs about 10 fights to get 15 Million .

Ortiz helped him generate 2.1 bc it was his first real opponent , on top of that hes not promoted so ? How many REAL opponents after Breazeale are left ? Next to zero bc Joshua has fought them all .

If 15 Million wasnt crack head money we would be alright , blame the cash cow Wilder and his highly intelligent staff on that !

His next fight should be on PPV, he seems to have a lot of fans especially on boxing forums now. Am sure they would be willing to pay to see him fight.

Fook 'em Larry X. AJ can't truly call himself the Champion, with a shark like Wilder out there still carrying an 0.

That would require actually promotion .

Its clear after 7 title defenses Finkel , Dibella ,Haymon are not interested in that and its the reason why they were able to go under the radar with guys they hand picked bc any actual fight on PPV would need a credible opponent to warrant it .

It reflects on the whole sport when an american WBC HW champion of the world isnt even clearing 3 million per fight.

The man should by all rights be earning the same if not more than Anthony Joshua.

Im not pinning any blame on wilder, hes an exciting fighter with a disgusting power but.. somewhere along the line you gotta call bad management.

I dont see why people think if he beats AJ he automatically starts clearing 20/30 million dollar pay days lol. he wont, if he beats AJ.. and then beats AJ again in a rematch.. he goes back to earning maybe 10 mil purses tops.

he isnt what the vast majority of the boxing paying customer wants as the face of the sport, and thats down to poor promotion
