I'm of the opinion if the NRA took the lead in situations like this they could look great cuz no one with a brain, gun owner or otherwise, is championing dead children simply cuz guns are cool & "wooooooooo 2nd amendment f#ck ya".

I'd argue the NRA should be making sure EVERYWHERE has reasonable gun laws (it sounds like there wasn't in FL) & improved laws if deemed necessary. The NRA should be leading the charge for fingerprint protective measures & other ways to limit things like this happening. The NRA could look like heros here, but they choose to play the political game for profits instead of the moral game for profits.

And hell maybe they will do that at some point, I think it'd be in their best interest to do so, in the coming months or years for the longevity of the NRA cuz there is a whole generation of dorks & sissies coming up over the next decade that'll require more reasonable behavior & rebranding with some transgender cat holding a fingerprint safety measure rainbow colored pistol in their future ads.
