You can't give me a link to Sydneys housing market and use that as barometer for all of Australia. If you want to play that game would you like to see the median home price in NYC, LA, or San Francisco?

Also your prices are marked in AUD dollars which is 25% weaker compared to the US dollar. Therefore your 750k home is really $560k in US.

In addition bragging about expensive homes is not a positive. If your average bloke can't afford to buy a home or pay his mortgage then that's a problem.

        Glad you saw that too.

I was wondering if I'd have to point that cherry-picking out, but you did it. Props.

And 9 out of 10 Americans identify as "oppressed" street urchins and throw daily pity parties for themselves because doctors make more money than they do.

You start to see what's wrong with this picture. People can't tell the difference between shallow envy and actual poverty.

The simple truth is that the world is far better off today than it was 30 years ago, especially the USA.

In terms of material wealth things have never been better.

Some aspects of capitalism work for some countries, just like some aspects of socialism work for some countries.

But the idea that capitalism benefits this country is bs.

You seek to keep forgetting that you paid for a bailout for wall street, a bailout which saw bankers make record bonus checks. You paid for it.

That's called corporate socialism, and your about to see am lot more of it.

Your taxes will sky rocket after trump, it's guaranteed. And you can look at your capitalism and corporate welfare as to the reasons for it.

Poverty rate has also been slashed in half in that time, not only in the USA but in the world as well.

However the fact remains, Capitalism has turned USA citizens into the wealthiest people in the world and it is not even close. Our poor, are equivalent to the worlds middle/upper middle class.

So next time some dummy communist on this board or else where in life tries to convince you that socialism or communism is the way to go, make sure to point these stats out to him.
