“These fires aren’t even in forests,” said Max Moritz, a wildfire specialist at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Rather, the Camp and Woolsey fires, which are ripping through Northern and Southern California, began in areas known as the wildland-urban interface: places where communities are close to undeveloped areas, making it easier for fire to move from forests or grasslands into neighborhoods.

There.
I just taught you the difference between forest fires and urban interface fires. And which one of those two Camp Fire is.
The town of Paradise was a town. Not a forest.
And Plumas is a national forest. Which means the federal government is in charge of it. And the president is in charge of the federal government. Now, I just taught you science and civics! All in one lesson! I'm done.
Believe the firefighters, fire chiefs, experts, or believe whatever you make up. Even if you belief Trump and that it is mismanagement, then it is Trump himself. Apparently, Trump is going to cut off funds for California until they teach him how to properly manage forests. lol. Ok.
These fires take a spark, and at least in the last few years fires have been caused by negligent behavior by PG&E.
The California Public Utilities Commission will be evaluating PG&E's maintenance of their facilities, vegetation management and emergency preparedness and response, said commission spokeswoman Terrie Prosper.
