    There.

I just taught you the difference between forest fires and urban interface fires. And which one of those two Camp Fire is.

The town of Paradise was a town. Not a forest.

And Plumas is a national forest. Which means the federal government is in charge of it. And the president is in charge of the federal government. Now, I just taught you science and civics! All in one lesson! I'm done.

Believe the firefighters, fire chiefs, experts, or believe whatever you make up. Even if you belief Trump and that it is mismanagement, then it is Trump himself. Apparently, Trump is going to cut off funds for California until they teach him how to properly manage forests. lol. Ok.

These fires take a spark, and at least in the last few years fires have been caused by negligent behavior by PG&E.

The California Public Utilities Commission will be evaluating PG&E's maintenance of their facilities, vegetation management and emergency preparedness and response, said commission spokeswoman Terrie Prosper.

Schools out. I got time for boxing, but not for educating you. Except for one last lesson: AWFUL.

      Click on any news site.

We know how this ends. I just proved you are an idiot with no idea what you are talking about. PG&E are already blamed for 17 fires last year.

They emailed a customer to say there are sparks. They emailed customers to let them know there will be power outages because of the risk of fires. There was brush around their power lines, they are responsible for clearing. They didn't.

But yes, go ahead and blame it all on California because they have some forests in other parts of the state.

CHECKMATE. Click on any news about this. Or just keep spouting nonsensical dribble.

You are ignoring the facts. Sorry, to school you, Son.
I'm 99% certain this is SafeSpace.

The claiming of some sort of victory was the kicker.

Children act that way, and SafeSpace.

But maybe, just maybe I'm wrong.

I'll give it one last shot.

3 counterpoints were made, not just one. So claiming a "checkmate" isnt a good sign....

But let's square those 3 points. I'm certain in the process I'll prove myself correct about this being an alt or I'll meet a new member who looks promising.

Ok, the first point was the cause of this fire. You claim it's in your source, but I missed it. It happens.

So please quote that part. Thx.

The second counterpoint was my question, So why arent we seeing these "urban interface" fires outside of California?

      Please answer.

The third was your claim that corporations are responsible for clearing underbrush on private property.

Please prove that now, via source citation, of course.

Thx, and I await your answer.

And remember, this is a discussion on the facts, not a contest.

I read that this Paradise place is essentially a community of elders and disabled. that explains the huge loss of life there. this looked like a scene out of Mad Max.

You're really that dumb huh? Paradise is a town located near the forest. Did you see all the BIG trees in the town? When fire travles 80 football fields in one min it goes to forest to town. Man you are thick!

As far as federal lands, CARB tells the feds how much they can burn because of air quality standards they set. Just like they have standards for cars in CA. CARB says what can be sold there even know they meet Fed standards. The state tells EVERYONE when they can burn and when they cant. We have to watch the news if we want to have a fire in our fireplaces. So they can say if its a burn day or not.

You people that dont live here would never understand just like you dont understand the forest and location to towns around the forest. People want to live in the woods and they're paying the price.

So Cal fire is thought to be started by a power line. Camp fire was started by a camp fire.
BTW last I checked the forest hasnt been over grown in two years that Trumps been in office. Matter of fact the last three years here have been above avg or over avg for rainfall and snowfall. You MIGHT want to look at the two guys before Trump and blame the right person. But that doesnt really matter because CA has say when theres control burns feds or not.

Jerry Brown tried to open up more logging to thin the forest last year. The bill was shut down by the greenies.

Ive lived in these areas, I still fish these areas, and I hunt these areas. Im pretty sure I know what a forest is. I live about hour from Paradise

LOL you think PGE is responsible for the land? They are responsible for the power lines and trees around the lines. They aren't required to clear a field of grass nor brush, just anything that interferes with the power line.

i agreed, when its time to bounce you gotta go! but sometimes its not as easy as it sounds. people go back to get their belonging, pets, etc. and get caught in the process and some people wait it out, thinking it will be fine until its too late.

                Exactly.

I figured he was spewing nonsense and superfan excuses, and it appears you just proved that is indeed the case.

                Uh, oh.

A refutation of TWO of his claims so far.

                Not looking good.

When Jerry Brown is the voice of reason, things are a mess.

And the superfans want to try and blame Trump!!

                What's that matter?

We're dealing with a self-appointed Internet debate champion here buddy.

                Impressive.

A complete refutation of falsehoods presented.

And since I'm sure he must reply, the only question is how much ducking and dodging, obfuscating, word playing, insults and claims of victory you will get as a rebuttal.

Oh he'll be back but I live near and have all the info he needs.

I hate when people try and speak on things they know nothing about. No Media can tell you what we've lived. When you live in the area you know what goes on thats just how it works.

Media adds their politics to it and the viewer laps it up because its what they want to hear.

Live in the state and area and then tell me how its run and whats going on.

Political cheerleading to that extent is definitely a sickness.
