It's weird cause the IBF had the press release on here about a month or so ago about this alleged mandatory & that was debunked, now this....

Yes, a month ago the IBF gave Canelo 30 days to request an exemption. He did not make any requests. Thats why they are calling the mando.......

So what if Canelo accepts the mandatory fight, what does Da Zone do?

Time to look at the fine print on the Canelo/DAZN contract. Another guy who should look at the fine print on his contract with DAZN is Demetrius Andrade. How in the world can DAZN say that they will not carry a Canelo vs Andrade fight when both are under contract with DAZN, but will approve a fight with Kovalev who is not under contract with Andrade. I don't see Eddie Hearn, Andrade's promoter, raising a stink about this.

He fights him with no broadcast coverage and doesn't get paid from DZAN or any other broadcaster. So the fight is off the cards.
