Default Heavyweight and - may be - cruiserweight should be splitted up?

Comparably huge Wilder had no chance against giant Fury.
Povetkin versus Vlad and Joshua, Hunter will be thrown against big guys sooner or later - is that fair?

Heavyweights and big guys - what is your opinion on that thing?

There's already twice as many divisions as there should be. Heavyweight is historically the favoured division because it's unlimited and there are upsets. twenty four pounds separated Dempsy and Firpo. ninety nine pounds separated Haye and Valuev.

It's fine. there was 30 pounds separating Wilder and Fury the first right too. Nobody gave a ****.

Not that many boxers that can utilise their size when I think about it...... not many of the smaller guys are explosive enough and work on getting inside like Tyson used to (just watch the videos of him training with Cus, bobbing and weaving like a mofo).

It's only not fair when they lose, conversely the smaller guys are held in higher esteem due to the disadvantage.

I often wonder to myself how good guys like Parker would be if they had the power and skill of a Mike Tyson and hunted people down...... I know he's 6'4 but if he adopted that style he'd fare better against the Joshua/Fury/Wilder height opponents.

I once read that the reason the weight classes were in order were not to protect the smaller fighters from getting beat down, but to protect the bigger fighters from being beat up for 100 rounds by someone who was twice as fast. Not sure how much truth there is to that, but makes you think.

Absolutely not. Leave things alone because they are fine as they are. How can you say Wilder has no chance when with a referee that did not count so slow or give so many walking tests Wilder would have KOed Fury in the first fight. Cunningham at 210 pounds knock Fury down for a 6 count. Big Baby Miller weighs 300 pounds. Is he a champion? There are 400 pound heavyweights fighting now and they lose all the time. Heavyweight is heavyweight and you fight everyone regardless of weight. If you devide heavyweight up into two weights of say under 250 and over 250 then the under 250 champion will demand to fight the over 250 champion. Every good heavyweight wants to be champion over everybody not just the smaller heavyweights. The best cruiserweights usually go to heavyweight. Look at history. Fury is the biggest heavyweight champ ever and most heavyweight champs are between 180 and 240. No upper limit on heavyweights PLEASE.

Smaller guys don't have a chance to ktfo bigger guys in such fights. Even if they are great punchers. Their only chance is therefore to win by points, which could be easily eliminated by grabbing by bigger guy.

And I was talking about fights of decent opponents, not about f-ng fighting a tree, as you sent me
