From an entertainment perspective, his fights were far more entertaining than Ward's boring/dirty fights. Ward was never offered a $100M contract, and he certainly never challenged himself to the extent that GGG did. GGG may not be as technically sound a boxer, but he is certainly more fun to watch and can dig deep without resorting to headbutts, elbows and low-blows.
