To be accepted into heaven you must admit you're a sinner, ask for forgiveness, admit that Jesus died for your sins and rose again, and ask Him to have a relationship with you.

You need to understand that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior, but the Bible says that we need to place our Faith in Jesus Christ and believe in our heart that He died and rose again, shedding His blood as a Sacrifice for our sins. If we call upon the name of the Lord (In Faith) we will be saved.

Faith is believing God, taking Him at His Word and submitting our will to His.
