What sparring stories?
Holyfield apparently was whooping Tyson into a corner during the Olympics (they were both in losers bracket at the time). Tyson couldn't get out of the corner as well and the trainers stopped it, not wanting either fighter to get hurt. Tyson was 17 and Evander was 21, which I why I said when I take this into account, it's "to a small degree". This just adds on to the fact that IMO, Tyson always struggled with Holyfield who can push him back. It's like he always knew the blueprint to beat him.

Holyfield confirms this directly from his mouth in a YouTube video.

U great has zer0 title defenses and not only ducked the Wlad rematch, but repeated offers to fight AJ for more $ than he'd been making.

Biggest duck when AJ made his American debut when no Americans could be found that weren't drug cheats or light in the loafers preferring to fight each other for peanuts on the dollar.

No bigger Fury fan than me, but since Wlad 1.0 he's soiled hisself as a fighting man of the people, going after the weakest links and low hanging fruit.

Best be careful or he'll pick U next!!!

Tyson from 1986-1988 would have handled Holyfield.
