  • Why are people so mad A Canelo for Ducking GGG?

I mean this guy has always fought smaller men and now you guys want him to go and fight a men who he has no chance in hell in beating? Dude is 26 years old in his prime why should he fight a dude who will probably take 10 years of his career? Why take that risk?

Canelo ducks no one, Floyd drained him at 154 and ggg tried to take advantage by blowing him up to 160. Canelo has a very unique physiology, he is a 156 pound fighter, and the best one the world has ever seen. War catchweight!

Why did everyone want May-Pac fight when they all knew Mayweather was going to win?

It just a big fight and it'll be fun.

If anything, Canelo has the best chance out of anyone up until 160 despite how small it is.

He probably could have avoided all of this if he simply would have said he needed a few fights to get ready for Golovkin.

Instead, he called Golovkin to the ring, told his trainers to put his gloves back on so he can fight Golovkin right there, told him Mexicans dont **** around, had his promoter daring Golovkin to answer his phone at the post presser, etc.

This is the biggest fight in boxing? Casual fans will tune in like they did when Floyd and Pacquiao were killin it? The best fighting the best is great for the relevance of the sport?

And then he vacated the precious Mexican WBC belt to avoid his MW mandatory

This guy led the boxing fans on for several months, going back to before the Cotto fight. He signed agreeing to fight GGG next if he were to beat Cotto. After the fight, he gives us some tough "Im not scared of anybody (Golovkin) talk. When it came time to negotiate in January, he tells us he wants a voluntary defense, under the guise of preparing for GGG. After he beats Khan, he lies to us again, calling Golovkin into the ring, saying hed fight "right now", and "at 160lbs". He continues his bravado daring Loeffler to answer his phone the following Monday. He does all this tough talk and macho act, only to hand over the WBC belt roughly 10 days later. He lied to us all.

I would have had more respect for Canelo had he vacated After the Cotto fight. If he had said then, that he was a 154 fighter, that would have beem better. He could have vacated in January when the negotiation period was supposed to start. He could have"pulled a Cotto" and just not paid the sanctioning fee prior to Khan, but he chose to pay amd represent himself as the WBC MW champ. He could have said after the Khan fight that he was a 154 fighter, rather than put on that spectacle in front of us all. Canelo could have been truthful at some point in time, at any point in time. Instead, he took us all on a ride for many months.

And now, now that Canelo has vacated the WBC MW belt, what does he do? He keeps talking about Golovkin, like he really wants a fight anytime soon. We've had enough of your lies and false bravado, Saul.

Because he won the WBC MW title / Lineal Middleweight Title
Because he calls Golovkin in the ring and says, "We Mexicans don't **** around", and things like, "I'll fight GGG at 160"
Because he rehydrates to 170+ range for the past few years
Because he fights people with his size advantage
Because he had a controversial win over Erisandy Lara, and isn't even fighting the top dogs in the 154 division.

                    Etc.
