  • Tips on gaining wieght

    I need some tips on how to gain wieght i just cant do it.
    I have been the same wieght for the last 4 years.
    All post will be greatly appreciated

      Check out this site, I know this guy is the real deal. I've been reading the magazine Muscle Media for years and he won their transformation contest back in 97 or 98.

      Basically you need to eat consistently. 5 to 6 meals a day, high protein and up your caloric intake to 3000+ calories a day. It's hard, when I was eating 6 meals a day I was always full, but I noticed changes quick. If you want it bad enough you can do it, the info is out there, you just need to apply it. Good luck.

          Spot on.

          Eat more quality food. Keep your protein and carb intake high. Lift heavy if you aren't allready.

            Zen is completely correct. Are you talking about just gaining weight in general or gaining muscle mass?

            If you are 170 lbs and 10% BF, 170*.90=153 lean body weight. To calculate your calorie intake multiply that by 25 which would be
            3825 calories.

            For a growth phase, a micronutrient ratio of 50% Carbohydrates, 30% Protein, 20% fat will do.

            Carbs and Protein have 4 calories per gram, while fat has 9.
