How come mayweather doesn't get much credit for beating Canelo?

Is a 36 year old washed up Floyd the same fighter as a 42 year old retired even further washed up Floyd?

the reality is Canelo got taken to the cleaners by a Floyd that was already old and past it in 2013.

Could it be cause Alvarez is 168+ lbs and Floyd is 42 and retired?

Yawn, that’s casual fanboy talk. A weight drained Canelo whose best and controversial win was Trout at that point in his career. LMAO.

Okay, so another weight drained post. Can you explain what exactly about his performance that made you think he was so weight drained?

There is a reason Floyd won't rematch him TODAY? The man hasn't taken a legit fight since May of 2015. Of course he won't rematch him today, especially when he is now 41 years old, soon to be 42 years old. Why would you want that rematch anyways?

Canelo is a damn good first ballot HOF caliber fighter. But he hasn't separated himself against any of the top fights he has faced, minus Cotto. And even Cotto then is arguable just how good he was in 2015. Canelo fought close vs Trout, GGG (2x), Lara and obviously got schooled by Floyd. But there is nothing wrong with that as that is what usually happens you face top competition. GGG himself once he started facing top competition started getting in close fights. If Canelo fights Jacobs next, that will be another close competitive fight. Mayweather is just a level above him.

That fight was a draw, as the proper judge correctly said. How could anyone think that Mayweather won that fight?

It was a great win. Canelo had 40+ fights before Mayweather and had fought several champs. While I agree he is better now, that Canelo at that weight was still an all time great win.

And that win gets better and better with time.

lol 21 or 23 same shyit. Still green and learning the skills of Pro Fighting. A young buck. Like I said Canelo was still a diamond in a rough.. Floyd picked him up when he was a rough diamond. The Canelo now is a fine cut diamond. That's a huge difference. But off course you can't tell the difference right? lol

Oh look at this pactrd trying to rewrite history. Trout previously beat cotto and was a champion. Canelo was only a 2-1 favorite against trout.

                    LMAO

Floyd was a lot closer to his prime than Canelo was and that’s a fact.

Forget Floyd tho this is the canelo era
Umm, you really believe that? Please explain.
