  • Does boxing die when Manny retires?

Is Pacquiao the last ATG fighter we''ll see?

There's very little sign that any of today's boxers have what it takes to make that ATG list. Corruption, too much focus on money, everyone's protecting their 0's by fighting tomato cans... as well as boxing's general decline.

The fact that Manny's corpse was able to beat one of this gen's best offerings highlights the lack of quality around today.

ATG show up every now and then

It wouldn't be a select group of elites if these level of fighters are a consistent steady stream

Nope. Boxing survived the retirement of ATGs like Robinson, Duran, Leonard, Hearns, Tyson, etc. we still have Loma, and plenty of talented fighters from 126-175 who can aspire to greatness. Or at least carry the torch and put on entertaining fights.

It sounds like you have some more names to put forward?

Boxing was hear before Pac and will be here after Pac.

Only fan boys will leave the sport.

People watch boxing whenever two GOOD fighters are facing each other. Boxing will have fans as long as these fights happen.

I'm not the biggest Alvarez fan but his fights with Golovkin were must sees for me

Well, none that will ever match the greatness of Manny, but I see promise in a few. Govozdyk can clean up 175, Crawford if he can get some big fights, Inuoe shows great potential, Shakur Stevenson at 126/130.
