Day 8 ends with Cai's elimination.

Chip Counts Going into Day 9.

      Seat 1: Hossein Ensan (Germany) 207,700,000 173bb's
      Seat 3: Dario Sammarrtino (Italy) 23,100,000 19bb's
      Seat 4: Kevin Maahs (USA) 66,500,000 55 bb's
      Seat 6: Garry Gates (USA) 171,700,000 143 bb's
      Seat 9: Alex Livingston (Canada) 45,800,000 38bb's

Top 2 players left as far as winnings go are Dario ($8M) & Hossein ($2.6M).

      Least experienced is Maahs ($61k)

And randomly Alex Livingston is a bad mofo. He's guaranteed no worse then 6th of 8,569 in this years main event & he also finished 13th of 6,352 in the 2013 main event. Not a whole lot of people go deep in this tournament with these giant ass fields. Takes a nice mix of skill, focus & mental endurance to do this once I imagine.

Sammartino almost got screwed by a dealer mistake...but made it to the final table.

These female dealers can't even math.

Jack Effel was kinda a dick about it.

My favorite tweet about the situation.

Hand 111 of the Final Table

Chip leader, Hossein Ensan, minraises. Kevin Maahs ships his 15 big blinds. Ensan calls. Ensan shows 99. Maahs shows ATs. Maahs doesn't improve.

Kevin Maahs, 27yrs, of Chicago, IL finishes in 5th place for $2,200,000.

Nice interview where he breaks down all his tanking that was pissing off so many people & I kinda dig his mindset here.

Hand 120 of the Final Table

Garry Gates, who'd been 2nd in chips for most of the final table til a few miss steps, ships 15 bigs in the small blind. Alex Livingston in the big blind calls. Gates shows 66. Livingston shows QQ. Gates doesn't improve.

Garry Gates, 37yrs, of Titusville, PA finishes 4th for $3,000,000.

Dude breaks down a lil in this video.

Day 9 concluded with Gates elimination. Today is the last day. 3 players left. $20M still on the table. $4M for 3rd. $6M for 2nd. And $10M for 1st.

All 3 are very capable players & were 3 of the 4 best players coming into the final table.

Seat 1 Hossein Ensan, 55yrs, Muenster, Germany, 326.8M chips, 163bb's or 64% of the chips in play
Seat 3 Dario Sammartino, 32yrs, Naples, Italy, 67.6M chips, 33bb's or 13% of the chips in play
Seat 9 Alex Livingston, 32yrs, Halifax, Canada , 120.4 chips, 60bb's or 23% of the chips in play

recentlt started a bovada account. work was slow so i wanted something to do other than play with the stock market and my nuts . hardly put anything in there and haven't touched it yet, still quite weary about getting my money back, etc. planning on starting basically from scratch, i have not played cards in a long time. hoping i don't get creamed but i'm usually a pretty fair player and i'm patient.
