It feels like yesterday that this guy was a light heavyweight and it obviously wasn't his best weight class. He lost to Nathan Cleverly and Adonis Stevenson. However, as he moved up, he did better and better, avenging his loss to Cleverly, surprising everyone by stopping the hardhitting Makabu and now, moving up to heavyweight, he has even stopped David Haye. The guy has improved a lot and Haye gets injured all the time, it's the essence of David Haye to get injured, so Bellew really just beat David Haye for what he essentially was - a very good fighter who easily gets injured. Bellew is a true warrior and he deserves respect. I was among those who expected Haye to destroy him.

LOL, remember when he was calling out Clev non-stop during 2010 times. I never thought he'd get as far as winning a World title and then for him to go on and beat a name fighter like Haye. Amazing!!!!

Imagine Ward or Kovalev against Haye. Haye would destroy them, lol.

Joshua is the best heavyweight in the world at the moment.
Why do you have to disrespect Tony after such a fine victory?

He won't get any respect, a lot of backlash on twitter and YT.
The problem with Tony and Matchroom is they are ignoring the fact Haye was seriously injured. The public are only talking about Hayes leg and how brave he was.
The win is tainted due to him basically struggling to beat a cripple
Respect will never be given, stop begging for itLast edited by FrankieBruno; 03-05-2017, 12:07 PM.

Agreed. It never ceases to amaze how bad most boxing fans are. Really disrespectful and they put themselves on a crazy pedestal where their respect can hardly ever be earned. You can imagine them there sat on their sofa streaming fights and wanting an outcome that some how fits their s.hite agenda about the fighter.
People not respecting Bellew is a joke. He knew he could have been violently KO'd but stuck to a plan. And people not respecting Haye for fighting on one leg for 6 rounds. F.uck off!
