Loeffler admitted right before the Cotto/Martinez fight that Martinez never ducked or turned down a GGG fight. He said the timing was never right to negotiate the fight. Go back and look at the timeline starting with GGG becoming an HBO fighter and you'll see they were never free to fight at the same time

I'll give you a very brief list at the top of my head of MW champions that are in that list you're tlaking about... who literally said "no" i will not fight Golovkin at some point, for various reasons...

Golovkin wasn't exactly a big name until a few years ago. By that time Martinez was struggling with countless knee surgeries which culminated in his hobbling through a non-fight with Cotto.

Martinez didn't "run scared" into retirement. He retired because he was 39 years old and could barely walk.

What a disrespectful revision of history for all parties involved.

Where are you getting your fake news from? Loeffler disagrees with you. Before the Martinez-Cotto fight Loeffler is saying Martinez never turned down a GGG fight.
