This was a really good interview.

He doesn't go into de lay hoya much at all other than to make the claim that oscar has used steroids. No surprise really.

let us not stoop down to the level of the lowlifes here who call themselves "boxing fans" and revel in putting down a man's name just because of mere speculations.

if they insist on becoming the dregs of society by wasting their time in sullying a man's name just because of rumor and questionable circumstance, then its their right to devolve themselves.

i personally am not a fan of dela hoya, but unless he himself admits to wrongdoing or is caught, tried and found guilty beyond reasonable doubt, he just like everyone has the right to presumption of innocence.

Hell, everyone is probably on steroids.

It's not just a competition of sport, it's also a competition of who can acquire the best and non-detectable steroids/PEDs.

Athletes are automatically at a disadvantage if they don't juice up to "even" the playing field.

LOL @ people not knowing who Mike Silver is. He's well known boxing historian. However, IMO he falls in with the likes of Bert Sugar who just say some outlandish crap. Like Floyd nor Pac are top 100 ATG's.

Thomas Hausser,is a great journalist. I don't think is baseless accusations at all. I think he did his research and knows what he's talking about. There is a reason why Oscar never denied about the waiver that is supposedly out there. Hausser mentions if Oscar signs some kind of a waiver the truth will come out.

And, LOL @ Pac being on steroids is more likely than Oscar is...GTFOH.

Mike Silver is the author of "The Arc of Boxing: The Rise and Decline of the Sweet Science" (McFarland Publishing, 2009). This critically acclaimed book reveals how socio-economic, demographic and environmental changes have affected the quality, performance, training methods and psychology of professional boxers over the past 100 years. The author and his panel of world renowned trainers and historians compare the strengths and weaknesses of today's superstar boxers to their counterparts of decades past. As the author says, "I did not write this book to add fuel to the 'old school' vs. 'new school' boxing debate. I wrote it to end the debate." Critics have praised "The Arc of Boxing" as a seminal work of extraordinary depth and intelligence.

Mike is also a noted authority on Jewish boxing history. In 2004 he was curator for "Sting Like A Maccabee: The Golden Age of the American Jewish-Boxer" at The National Museum of American Jewish History (a Smithsonian affiliate), and in 2007 co-curator of "Jews, Boxing & Hollywood", a film and lecture series sponsored by The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival. Mike has served as historical consultant for 18 documentaries on boxing broadcast by ESPN, PBS, HBO, the History Channel, A & E, and Madison Square Garden-TV. He has written extensively about the sport for The Ring Magazine, The New York Times, Boxing Monthly and various boxing web sites. He is a former boxing promoter, Inspector with the New York State Athletic Commission, and a member of the International Boxing Research Organization.

So apparently this Silver guy is Jewish.

Obviously, Silver is making up lies about Oscar because Silver is siding with fellow Jew Bob Arum.

do you guys remember Thomars Hausers article chalenging Oscar to give some authority to reveal some of his test results?

lets just state all the facts.

                    1. Oscar did not address the article and kept quiet
                    2. Keiser in an interview said all Oscar's test in nevada are negatives ( Hauser did not ask him, how about the tests in others states????? )

                    3. Hau$er did not have a follow up article.

                    can you guys analyze????
                    Hopkins accused Oscar of juicing.
